EXOwalk
The task was to design a showcase website for ExoWalk, a shoe add-on aimed at enhancing short-distance walking. The goal was to create an modern, responsive interface highlighting the product’s features and benefits.
Design system
The design system includes defined color palettes, font selections, text size and components.
Responsive deisgn
Great attention was paid towards responsive design, suited for laptop, tablet and mobile devices.
Corporate identity
A dynamic logo was crafted to reflect the silhouette and energy of the shoe add-on, embodying its functionality.
Visuals
The website design for ExoWalk incorporated graphic elements inspired by the Tailored Fiber Placement (TFP) technique, visually representing the innovative carbon fiber technology and emphasizing the strength and resilience of the product.
Design prozess
The design process began with comprehensive market research to understand the landscape of products supporting mobility. User research targeted individuals aged 18 and above, focusing on early adopters, working professionals, and short-distance commuters. It was noted that many working commuters, especially those aged 18 and above, primarily relied on cars, with 40% indicating in 2020 that they typically used automobiles for journeys under 5 kilometers.
The name ‚Exo‘ evokes externality, while ‚Walk‘ encapsulates its purpose, seamlessly integrating form and function.
Following the research phase, the design process proceeded with the development of the corporate identity, including logo design and the establishment of design systems.
Following that step, a promotional video for the product was produced.
Following this, a roll-up poster was designed for exhibitions.
